Few colors capture the original Miata's cheerful, uncomplicated personality like Sunburst Yellow. The vivid three-coat finish cost just $250 when new, but only 1,519 U.S. cars received it, making this small run of yellow roadsters one of the most distinctive sights from the NA era.

Purchased from the president of the Tejas Miatas club. Last seen on the road at Rad Wood Austin in February 2019, then stored in a barn until the current owner bought it.
