Named for Japan's celebrated ski country, the UK-exclusive Niseko made the NC feel ready for crisp winter mornings and long summer evenings alike. Mazda offered 800 cars, split between 240 1.8-liter soft tops and 560 2.0-liter Roadster Coupés. Buyers chose bespoke Icy Blue Metallic or Sunlight Silver Metallic, both paired with dark-brown heated leather, icy-blue stitching, and generous chrome detailing.

Unique 17-inch wheels, fog lamps, stainless-steel scuff plates, branded mats, and Niseko wing badges added the special-edition finish. The 1.8 used a five-speed manual and dark-brown cloth roof; the 2.0 combined a six-speed manual, limited-slip differential, and the 12-second retractable hardtop.
