Mazda celebrated the MX-5's first decade by turning the color blue into a complete design theme. The 1999 10th Anniversary Edition combined Sapphire Blue Mica paint with a matching soft top, blue carpet and trim, and blue suede-like seat centers framed by black leather. Polished 15-inch five-spoke wheels and a serialized driver-side fender emblem finished the look.
