The 2002 Special Edition came in two flavors with completely different personalities. Mazda built 1,000 extroverted Blazing Yellow Mica cars with black leather seats embroidered with the Miata logo, alongside 1,491 Titanium Grey Metallic cars with rich saddle-brown leather seating and door inserts. Both rode on 16-inch Enkei wheels.

Came across this beauty on Cinco de Mayo and very quickly joined the local Peachtree Miata Club. We bought a car and got a whole new set of friends. We’ve enjoyed many miles and I can honestly say it’s been a fun and reliable car to own. Reportedly this car is #848 within the series of 1,000 Blazing Yellow Mica’s produced.
