Thirty years after the original MX-5 debuted at the Chicago Auto Show, Mazda returned with an anniversary car impossible to ignore. Gloss Racing Orange, an exclusive color inspired by the yellow MX-5 Miata Club Racer shown in Chicago in 1989, covered both soft-top and RF versions. Production totaled 3,001 worldwide, with 643 ultimately allocated to the United States.
